Hermandad Mexicana Nacional (HMN) is hosting a vital workshop designed to equip the Latino community with essential knowledge and resources to respond to fire emergencies effectively.

Workshop Highlights: 

• Fire Emergency Response: Learn the critical steps to take during a fire emergency, ensuring your safety and preparedness.

• Evacuation and Relocation Resources: Access information on available resources to assist you in evacuating or relocating during fire outbreaks.

• Utility Bill Discounts: Receive guidance on how to apply for discounts on your utility bills, helping to alleviate financial burdens during challenging times.

• Refreshments and Snacks: Enjoy complimentary refreshments and snacks while engaging in the presentation.

This workshop is part of HMN's ongoing commitment to empowering the Latino community with the tools and knowledge necessary to navigate and respond to fire emergencies effectively.

This block party was more than just a celebration; it was about empowerment. We were thrilled to host over ten vital community resource organizations, all dedicated to supporting our neighbors. The resources were invaluable, from navigating Medicare and accessing crucial health assistance to mental health services, dental care, financial support, and even getting the latest Metro information and registering to vote. As the afternoon unfolded, the vibrant sounds of Mariachi Lluvia y Fuego filled the air! Their musical talent was undeniable, and it was heartwarming to see them invite our children and community members to learn about instruments, a beautiful testament to our commitment to keeping our culture alive and vibrant. We will not allow it to be cast aside! Then, Ernesto Corona took the stage, his words ringing with conviction as he denounced the xenophobic rhetoric aimed at our communities. His powerful message of unity and resilience was a crucial reminder of the strength we hold together. The stage then transformed with the graceful movements of Ballet Folklórico Corazones Valientes. Their musical performance was a breathtaking display of artistry and a proud expression of our heritage. As the sun began to set, we closed the afternoon with a single, powerful goal: to encourage our San Fernando Valley community to stand together, to educate one another, and to continue building a stronger, more informed future.  Thank you to everyone who joined us, our incredible speakers and performers, and the organizations that shared their vital resources. This Mother's Day block party was a testament to the heart and soul of our community. ¡La lucha sigue! 

Every year, Hermandad Mexicana Nacional proudly hosts our annual Christmas celebrations at our offices across the Valley and Los Angeles. These gatherings are a beloved tradition where families and community members come together to share the joy of the holiday season. Children are especially excited for a visit from Santa Claus, who brings gifts and big smiles. The celebration features delicious food, with many attendees bringing homemade dishes or desserts to share, creating a warm, communal atmosphere. Guests enjoy lively entertainment, including performances by mariachi bands that bring the spirit of Mexico to life. It's a festive and heartwarming event meant to celebrate community, culture, and the magic of the holidays.
